Gemsoft STL Viewer and Gemsoft STL Viewer Pro are STL/CAD file viewing apps for Android. The apps are published under the developer name Gemsoft KFPL. The legal company name is Kimberlite Facets Private Limited.

Information We Collect
The apps do not collect, upload, sell, or share personal information.
STL files selected by the user are opened and rendered locally on the device. They are not uploaded to any server by the app.
Files and CAD Models
When you choose an STL file, the app reads the file from your device or from the file provider you selected. The file is used only to display the 3D model inside the app.
The app does not transmit STL files, CAD designs, jewellery models, or file contents to Gemsoft KFPL, Kimberlite Facets Private Limited, 9gems.in, Google, or any third party.
Screen Recording
The app includes an optional screen recording feature. Screen recording starts only after you tap the record button and grant Android screen capture permission.
Recordings are saved locally on your device. The app does not upload or share recordings. You can delete recordings using your device gallery, file manager, or media app.
Settings Stored on Device
The app stores viewing preferences locally on your device, such as render mode, material, color, light settings, background, guide visibility, view angle, and rotation settings.
The free version also stores a local daily count of how many STL files were opened, to enforce the free usage limit. This count stays on your device and is not sent anywhere.

The free version may include a link to https://www.9gems.in. The app may also open the Google Play listing for Gemsoft STL Viewer Pro when the user chooses to purchase or view the Pro version.
These websites are opened in your browser or Google Play app. Their own privacy policies and terms apply.
Third-Party Services
The apps do not include third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, social login SDKs, or tracking SDKs.
Google Play may process data independently when you download, install, purchase, or update the app through Google Play. Google’s privacy policy applies to Google Play services.
Permissions Used
The app may use Android permissions required for screen recording foreground service functionality. These permissions are used only to support user-initiated screen recording.
The app uses Android’s file picker to let you choose STL files. The app does not request broad access to all files on your device.
Data Sharing
We do not share personal data, STL files, CAD files, recordings, or app settings with third parties.
Data Retention and Deletion
Because the app does not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no server-side user data to delete.
Local app settings can be removed by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app. Screen recordings saved to your device can be deleted manually from your device storage or gallery.
Children’s Privacy
The apps are not directed to children and do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at the privacy policy URL used in the Google Play listing.
